I start my new job on May 31!
I’m VERY excited about the change. Leaving my current position is long overdue, and the new gig seems like a great opportunity.
I’ve been a little busy wrapping things up at the current position. I’m on vacation the rest of the week, then back for a full week!
The new job will change my schedule though. A 30 mile commute each way means more times spent away from home and less time set aside for training. For the first three weeks, I’m going to force myself to work out in the morning, and see if I can just adjust my schedule all at once. The only thing I can’t do in the morning is swim. The facilities around here all seem to open at 8am… and I have to be at my desk by then. My workouts now are fairly short – especially my runs, so it shouldn’t be an issue.
